Kitces.com Members Section gives you more than enough CE to fulfill the ongoing educational requirements for CFP (including Ethics!) and Investments & Wealth (IWI, formerly IMCA) CE obligations every year.

Account Management

New user? Let's get you signed up!

  1. You can sign up for a Kitces.com member account in your XYPN Portal here!
  2. Navigate to your Kitces.com benefit.
  3. Confirm the information displayed is correct - if not, update it in your settings!
  4. Check the acknowledgment.
  5. Click Sign Up.

Please allow 1-3 business days to hear back about your new account from the Kitces team!

Your XYPN portal will update at the end of the month of your sign-up request, reflecting this is an active benefit under your XYPN membership!


Existing user? Let's transfer that account!

  1. You can request to transfer your Kitces.com members section billing to XYPN via your Portal here.
  2. Navigate to your Kitces benefit page.
  3. Select Transfer Account on the side navigation.
  4. Confirm the information displayed is correct - if not, update it in your settings!
  5. Check to confirm the billing acknowledgment.
  6. Click Request Transfer.

Please allow 1-3 business days to hear back about your account transfer request from the Kitces team!

Your XYPN portal will update at the end of the month of your transfer request, reflecting this is an active benefit under your XYPN membership!

Adding/Removing a license

  1. You can request additional licenses as well as remove them by reaching out to members@kitces.com.
  2. Within your Kitces.com benefit in the Portal under Add License, you can see all current licenses, pending signups, and cancellations here.
  3. Refer to your Kitces.Com account and support team to ensure that any user access for removed or added licenses has been updated as necessary for accurate account accessibility and billing purposes.

Please note: at this time we don't have a discount for non-XYPN members affiliated with an XYPN firm.

Canceling your account

  1. If you'd like to close your Kitces.com account, you can do so via your XYPN Portal.
  2. Go to your Kitces benefit.
  3. Click Close Account on your side navigation.
  4. Confirm the information displayed is correct - if not, update it in your settings!
  5. Check the acknowledgment.
  6. Click Close Account.

NOTE: All cancellation requests must be submitted no later than five business days before the end of the month in which you'd like to cancel to avoid being billed for an additional month.

Your XYPN portal will update at the end of the month of your account cancellation request, reflecting this is no longer an active benefit under your XYPN membership.

Leaving XYPN?

  • Your Kitces.Com discount as an XYPN member will end when your membership ends. Be sure to connect with Kitces.Com directly for the next steps on account access, data transfer, and how to develop a retail relationship with them.

Billing

  • This member benefit is included with your membership, but any additional billing and invoicing will be done directly through Kitces.Com.

What's the difference between reading the Nerd's Eye View Blog and joining the Kitces members section?

  • The Nerd’s Eye View blog content is free and available to everyone. The Members Section is where you earn CE credit for what you’re already reading. You also get access to exclusive content, including white papers, webinars, and other Member Resources. 

Can I get CFP Ethics CE through the Kitces.com Members Section?

  • Yes! The Kitces.com Members Section offers CFP Ethics CE credits in the Premier tier (included in Membership).

Does Kitces.com offer NAPFA CE Credits?

  • All CE credits available in the Kitces.com Members Section are eligible to satisfy NAPFA CE requirements. Completion certificates will be provided upon passing the requisite CE quiz that you may use for self-reporting your bi-annual NAPFA CE obligations.

How quickly is CE Credit reported through Kitces.com?

  • Twice a month, generally on the 1st and 16th. CE is reported directly to the CFP Board and the Investments & Wealth Institute (formerly IMCA). Completion certificates are also provided via email after each course is completed. You can use these for self-reporting to NAPFA, PACE for the American College (e.g., for CLU, ChFC, and RICP designations), and for CPA CPE credits, or to expedite self-reporting to CFP Board & IWI if you prefer.
