Where can I get documentation of my CE attendance for NAPFA?

Though XYPN only supports CFP CE, we can assist you in getting the documentation you need to self-report CE credits to NAPFA.


There are several options:

  1. After completing a CFP CE eligible session and your credit is reported, you should receive a confirmation email from the CFP Board that looks like this:

    Save this confirmation email as a PDF and it can be used to self-report CE to NAPFA.
  2. If you don’t see this confirmation email come through or can’t find it in your inbox, navigate to your CFP account and log in:
    1. Navigate to the View/Report CE option in the left sidebar
    2. Scroll down to view your Continuing Education CE Summary
    3. You can then screenshot or save this page as a PDF to provide documentation.

Save this confirmation email as a PDF and it can be used to self-report CE to NAPFA.



  1. If you completed a self-study CE course via XYPN Academy, you can download a certificate directly from the platform.
    1. Log into XYPN Academy via your Member Portal or directly from the Academy page by clicking on the ‘SAML SSO’ button:

    2. Once logged into XYPN Academy, scroll down to the bottom of your home page and select My Activities. Next, select Courses. Scroll down to find the course you completed, look for the certificate logo on the right-hand side. Click the certificate logo and it will download. You can then use this certificate to self-report to NAPFA.
