Basic

  • Retail: $149.95/month
  • XYPN Member Cost: Included with membership!

Premium

  • Retail: $209.95/month

Platinum

  • Retail: $254.95/month
  • XYPN Member Cost: $105/month

NOTE: Starting July 2025, RightCapital will be implementing an automated tax solution to collect sales tax in the required states. You may see a new line item on your receipt for any applicable taxes.


Adding Additional Licenses

  • Assistant licenses are $40/month and require an upgrade to their Premium or Platinum membership levels. 
  • RightCapital will bill you for these licenses.
  • Reach out to support@rightcapital.com with your payment information, and they’ll set up the account for you.

RightExpress

  • RightExpress is available with Premium and Platinum subscription tiers.  
  • RightExpress is a powerful prospecting tool designed to simplify your outreach process and grow your book of business. Easily build comprehensive yet consolidated financing plans that attract new prospects and convert leads into long-term clients. Key features include: 
    • Enhanced Onboarding: With just 2-3 steps per module, prospects provide key information to quickly create a focused plan. Customize Express Templates to streamline setup and then easily transition an Express plan into a full financial plan, delivering a seamless client experience.
    • Express Modules: Choose from six simplified RightCapital modules, including Social Security, Retirement, Debt, Risk, Tasks, and Vault. Use just one or combine any (or all) of them to create a personalized approach that fits your prospects’ needs.
    • Track and Manage Leads: Create Express Client Groups to efficiently manage prospects from multiple referral sources, stay engaged with potential clients, and customize your outreach. 
    • Comprehensive Reporting: Generate detailed reports for each Express module, providing immediate value to prospects through a preliminary financial plan.

Account Management

New user? Let's get you signed up!

  1. Sign up for RightCapital right through your Member Portal!
  2. Choose your plan (defaulted to Basic - you can upgrade later!).
  3. Confirm account information.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. You're all set! RightCapital will be in touch with the next steps on your new account. Your portal will update at the end of the month of when you sign up, reflecting this benefit is active through your XYPN membership!

Current user? Let's transfer your account!

  1. Request to transfer your RightCapital account right through your Member Portal!
  2. Choose your plan (defaulted to Basic - you can upgrade later!).
  3. Confirm account information.
  4. Click Submit Transfer.
  5. You're all set! RightCapital will be in touch with next steps on your account transfer. Your portal will update at the end of the month of when you submit this transfer request, reflecting this benefit is active through your XYPN membership!

Upgrading your tier

  • We'll sign you up by default for RightCapital Basic (included in your membership!). If you'd like to upgrade your tier, you can easily do so right from your RightCapital account!
  • The edit should be made to “Tiers, Upgrading, and Additional Users” section of your RightCapital portal.

Upgrading to Premium:

  • Login to RightCapital.
  • Navigate to the Gear Icon > Billing > Subscription Tab.
  • Enter your credit card information and then select "Upgrade to Premium." After reading the Billing information, press "Upgrade".
  • For further support, email sales@rightcapital.com.

Upgrading to Platinum:

Adding or removing a license

  • Assistant licenses are $40/month and require an upgrade to their Premium or Platinum membership levels. 
  • RightCapital will bill you for these licenses.
  • Reach out to sales@rightcapital.com with your payment information, and they’ll set up the account for you.
  • They can also assist in removing a license for you. Refer to your RightCapital account to ensure that any user access for removed licenses has been updated as necessary.

Closing your account

  1. Submit a request to close your RightCapital account through your Member Portal!
  2. Confirm account information.
  3. Click Close Account.
  4. You're all set! RightCapital will be in touch with next steps on your cancellation request.
  5. Your portal will update at the end of the month of when you submit this cancellation request, reflecting this benefit is no longer active through your XYPN membership.

Leaving XYPN?

  • Your RightCapital discount as an XYPN member will end when your membership ends. Be sure to connect with RightCapital directly for the next steps on account access, data transfer, and how to develop a retail relationship with them.

Billing

  • All billing and invoicing will be done directly through RightCapital.

FAQs

I don't have the Subscription and Invoice tabs that other advisors do. Why is that?

  • RightCapital uses consolidated billing for firms with multiple advisors/admin assistants. Many consolidated billing situations are relatively simple, but some are highly complex. Some firms are adding/dropping advisors/admin from month to month, with tiered pricing. Because of this, RightCapital has to turn off its invoice system for all consolidated billing. However, reach out to RightCapital, and they will have their support team send monthly invoices to you.

What are the main differences between the Premium and Platinum tiers?

  • While most XYPN members find that RightCapital’s Premium tier meets their planning needs, there are a few notable features that come with Platinum:
    • Team Collaboration on Clients – Platinum allows multiple advisors or team members to collaborate on the same client files, which can be helpful for multi-advisor firms.

    • Custom Asset Classes and Firm-Wide Assumptions – Platinum gives you the ability to create custom asset classes and set firm-wide planning assumptions, offering more control over your investment modeling.


A quick heads-up:

Once you add custom asset classes in a Platinum account, you may be locked into that tier. As of last year, RightCapital didn’t offer a way to downgrade from Platinum back to Premium. If you’re considering Platinum, we recommend confirming this directly with RightCapital before upgrading. Most XYPN members find Platinum isn’t necessary unless they want very detailed control over investment assumptions. If you don’t need those advanced features, Premium is usually the better fit.


Do XYPN members get a free trial of RightCapital before signing up?

  • Because the RightCapital Basic tier is already included with XYPN membership, there isn’t a separate free trial period for members. Instead, you can sign up for a new RightCapital Basic account at no cost, explore the platform, and cancel anytime if it’s not the right fit.
  • If you’d like to see the software in action before creating your account, RightCapital also offers live demos on their website. If you schedule a 20-minute demo directly through RightCapital’s site, they’ll provide a 14-day free trial as part of that demo experience — but please note that this offer comes from RightCapital and does not apply through XYPN.
