Account Management
New user? Let's get you signed up!
- You can sign up for eMoney right from your Member Portal.
- Click on Sign Up and choose the eMoney plan you would like to sign up for, enter your contact and firm information, and hit Submit.
- You're all set! Your member portal will update once we hear back from eMoney on your new account. eMoney will contact you within one week with information on accessing your account and getting started.
- You'll find that you'll be prompted to sign an NDA when signing up for a new license or transferring your existing account. We need you to sign this because of how the enterprise relationship is set up with eMoney. This is an NDA stating that XYPN will not have access to your eMoney data.
- Your XYPN portal will update at the end of the month of signing up for this benefit, reflective of your eMoney discount through your XYPN membership!
Existing user? Let's transfer that account!
- You can transfer your eMoney account right from your Member Portal.
- Click on Transfer Account and choose the eMoney plan you currently are signed up for, enter your contact and firm information, and hit Submit.
- You're all set! Your member portal will update once we hear back from eMoney on your account transfer. eMoney will contact you within one week with information on accessing your account and getting started.

Upgrading your license
- Please get in touch with eMoney directly for any updates you would like to make to the tier of your license(s).
Adding a license
- You can add a license to your eMoney account right from your Member Portal.
- After you have signed up or transferred your own license through the portal, you can click on Add License. Click on Add Another License and choose the eMoney license type you would like to add to your account.
- Confirm XYPN Member status of this new license, enter the account details, and hit Add License.
- You're all set! eMoney will contact you within one week with information on accessing your account and getting started.
- Your XYPN portal will update at the end of the month of adding any license(s) to your eMoney account, reflecting they are active through your XYPN membership!
Removing a license
- You can remove a license to your eMoney account right from your Member Portal.
- Click on Remove License, and then click on the blue tab that says Remove a License.
- Enter the account details of the license you want to remove, and click Remove License.
- Your member portal will update once we hear back from eMoney on getting this additional license removed.
- Refer to your eMoney account and customer service team to ensure that any user access for removed licenses has been updated as necessary for account accessibility accuracy and billing purposes.
Cancelling your account
- You can cancel your eMoney member benefit right from your Member Portal.
- Click on Close Account.
- Enter and confirm the contact information and account details, and click Close Account.
- Your member portal will update at the end of the month of your account cancellation, reflecting this benefit is no longer active through your XYPN membership.
- Please reach out to eMoney directly for further support on closing your eMoney account.
Leaving XYPN?
- Your eMoney discount as an XYPN member will end when your membership ends. Be sure to connect with eMoney directly for the next steps on account access, data transfer, and how to develop a retail relationship with them.
Billing
- You are billed for the eMoney Pro, Premier, and Plus licenses, Marketing add-ons, and Planner licenses through XYPN on the 1st of the month.
- When you sign up for eMoney, you will immediately be billed a prorated amount for access to eMoney for the current month.

FAQs
What is the Marketing Add-On/Bamboo?
- eMoney's bamboo gives you access to a content library, campaign management platform, and more. You can learn more about this add-on at their website here.
I currently use eMoney and want to access the XYPN discount. Will my clients experience any transition issues in the transfer process?
- Your clients shouldn’t experience any interruption in their website access. Their URL will be different, but the change wouldn’t prevent them from logging on. We do recommend you share the new URL with your clients. Additionally, the sharing rules would need to be re-established if you’re sharing and delegating with other advisors in your firm.
Will I receive a new username and password if I transfer my account?
- No, your username and password will remain the same.
Will I be able to reset my client’s password info, or will XYPN have to do that?
- You will still be able to reset the client’s password.
Would I lose my account and client’s data if I left the network?
- XYPN does not own your client data, so you could leave XYPN and keep your eMoney account.
If XYPN chooses to end its agreement with eMoney, would I be able to transition seamlessly back to my ownership or just receive backup printouts?
- Because of the way the XYPN contract is set up, if XYPN terminated the agreement with eMoney, eMoney could set you back up on a standard contract, and your data would remain intact.
