Account Management

New Users? Let’s get you signed up!

1. Sign up for Wealthtender through your Member Portal!
2. From the XYPN Portal, go to the Wealthtender benefit page and click on Sign Up, then Get Started.
3. You will then be routed to Wealthtender’s sign-up page.
4. Create your account and acknowledge Wealthtender’s Terms of Service.
5. You’re all set! Once created, you can continue setting up your account.

Existing User? Let’s transfer that account:

1. Transfer your existing Wealthtender account through your Member Portal!
2. From the XYPN Portal, go to the Wealthtender benefit page and select Transfer, then Get Started.
3. You’ll be redirected to Wealthtender’s transfer landing page.
4. Select your XYPN member plan, fill in your account details, and add any additional teammate information you want to transfer
5. Review your transfer summary and select Transfer My Billing to XYPN.
6. That’s it! We’ll take care of the rest once we hear back from Wealthtender, and you’ll be billed directly through XYPN each month.

Upgrading or downgrading your tier

1. Sign in to your Wealthtender account.
2. In your Dashboard, select My Account from the menu options.
3. Choose Upgrade Subscription or Downgrade Subscription from the options below:

Adding or removing users

1. Sign in to your Wealthtender account.
2. In your Dashboard, select My Account from the menu options.
3. Choose Add/Remove Advisor(s) to Subscription from the options below:

Closing your account

1. Log in to your Wealthtender Account.
2. Once logged in, select My Account from the menu.
3. Under “How Can We Help You Today?”, select Cancel Subscription.

4. Follow the prompts on the page, and you’re all set! Your account will be cancelled, and billing will end the following month.

Leaving XYPN?

Your Wealthtender discount as an XYPN member will end when your membership ends. Be sure to connect with Wealthtender directly for next steps on account access, data transfer, and developing a retail relationship with them.

Billing will be processed through XYPN. Wealthtender fees will be included in your monthly invoice.

What exactly is Wealthtender, and what do I get?

Higher tiers add features such as AI-optimized FAQs, tools to promote testimonials on social media compliantly with a few clicks, visibility as a specialist to attract employees and executives at larger firms, and a dedicated firm focus page.

Where can I find my Wealthtender ID to sync with Find an Advisor for the testimonial integration?

To connect your Wealthtender account to your XYPN Find an Advisor profile, you’ll need your Wealthtender ID. Follow these steps to find it:

1. Sign in to Wealthtender.
2. Click the Edit button above your profile.
3. Locate your Wealthtender ID in the header area of your profile.
4. Copy your ID from Wealthtender.
5. Paste your ID into the Wealthtender ID field on your Find an Advisor profile settings page.

I’m state-registered in this state(s). Am I allowed to use online reviews?

It depends on the state and its marketing rule stance! Please consult your compliance team or XYPN Compliance before using online reviews.

Additionally, Wealthtender maintains a database with feedback from state regulators. (This is intended to be used as an educational resource and should not be relied upon for your determination to proceed with online reviews.)

My state restricts testimonials. Is Wealthtender still worth it?

This is the single most important question to answer honestly, and it's the most common reason we hear from advisors who are not yet permitted to use reviews and prefer not to join Wealthtender until they get the green light. If your state restricts or prohibits adviser testimonials, you can’t yet use the reviews portion of the platform, which is the most popular feature of the platform.

Fortunately, the rest of the platform still works, and at least a third of advisors partnering with Wealthtender haven’t activated the reviews feature. With the reviews feature turned off, advisors still benefit from an optimized profile, directory placements, and visibility in Google and AI search, which operate independently of reviews. Some advisors in restricted states subscribe for discoverability alone and are happy. 

Some advisors anticipate their state will give the green light for reviews soon and choose to establish their presence without reviews, while awaiting the regulator's green light to begin collecting reviews. Others plan to circle back with us to consider joining Wealthtender once their state modernizes its rules.

How much of my time does this take?

Very little to get started. Profile setup is done for you: the Wealthtender team builds your profile, and you review it. The initial onboarding form takes just 5 minutes to complete, and they provide step-by-step resources to help you get started collecting online reviews to ensure you can remain focused on what you do best - serving your clients.
