Income Lab is a comprehensive retirement and distribution planning software designed to help advisors build, analyze, and communicate personalized retirement strategies. Its robust capabilities support retirement spending analysis and presentation, Roth conversion planning, Social Security optimization, tax-efficient withdrawals down to the account and holding level, and IRMAA and Medicare planning, making it a powerful addition to your planning toolkit.
Income Lab also offers AI capabilities that can help build plans from notes, documents, meeting transcripts, and outputs from other planning software. You can then interact with those plans and other aspects of your business using natural language. Choose Your Included Financial Planning Benefit
XYPN members now have a choice between two included financial planning software benefits: Income Lab and RightCapital. You can select the one that best fits your firm’s needs as your included benefit.
Want to use both? You can! RightCapital will be your included benefit, while Income Lab will be available at 35% off all tiers. See the Member Cost (Discounted) column above for Income Lab’s discounted pricing.
Account Management
New Users? Let’s get you signed up!
- Sign up for Income Lab through your XYPN Member Portal!
- Select Sign Up, and then Get Started.
- Create your account and acknowledge Income Lab’s Terms of Service.
- Once created, Income Lab will send you an email with your activation link.
- That’s it! We’ll take care of the rest once we hear back from Income Lab.
Existing User? Let’s transfer that account:
- You can initiate your Income Lab transfer at any time through your XYPN Member Portal!
- Select Transfer Account and fill out the form on the page.
- Select Request Transfer.
- Income Lab will reach out to you about your account being transferred to XYPN.
- You’re done! Your account will transfer to XYPN’s agreement, and you’ll be billed at your new discounted rate with the following monthly dues.
Upgrading or Adding Additional User Seats
If you’d like to upgrade your plan or add additional user seats, please log in to your Income Lab account, click “Profile” in the top right corner, and select “Manage Account” > “Billing and Payments” > “Upgrade Plan” or “Add Seats”.
You will be billed for your upgrade or additional seats on your next invoice for the full calendar month that the seats were added.
Downgrading or Removing User Seats
To downgrade your account or remove any additional users, please reach out to support@incomelab.io by 5:00 PM MT on the 20th of any given month to ensure an accurate charge on the 1st of the month.
Downgrades and removing users will take effect at the end of the month the request was submitted.
Closing your account
To cancel your Income Lab account, go to your XYPN Member Portal to submit your request. Their team will reach out to you directly within 1 business day of receipt.
Leaving XYPN?
Your Income Lab discount as an XYPN member will end when your membership ends. Be sure to connect with Income Lab directly for the next steps on account access, data transfer, and how to develop a retail relationship with them.
Billing
XYPN will process billing for all users associated with your Income Lab account, including non-member users.
New signups: XYPN will bill you for the full month in which you sign up. Income Lab is not prorated, so you’ll be billed for the entire month regardless of your signup date.
Transfers from a monthly subscription: Your billing will switch to XYPN on the 1st of the month following your transfer request. Income Lab will issue a prorated refund for any eligible unused time remaining on your current monthly subscription.
Transfers from an annual subscription: Your account will remain with Income Lab until your renewal month. Your billing will switch to XYPN on the 1st of your renewal month. Income Lab will refund the unused portion of your prepaid subscription for that month.
FAQs
I’m currently signed up for a different financial planning software. Can Income Lab still be my included benefit?
In most cases, yes! If you currently use eMoney, MoneyGuide, or Elements, those products are available through XYPN at exclusive member discounts, so you can still choose Income Lab as your included financial planning software benefit.
The exception is RightCapital. Because RightCapital is also an included benefit, members who use RightCapital will have RightCapital as their included benefit. Income Lab will still be available at an exclusive 35% member discount across all tiers in this case.
